The Charlotte County Electoral Board met in early November 2023 to prepare for the Nov. 7 general election and then convened a canvass, including a closed-session review of provisional ballots and later processing of mail-in ballots; canvass actions were certified by unanimous roll-call votes and sealed materials were transferred to the circuit court clerk.
