Palm Springs City Council met Feb. 25, 2026, to hear a staff update on the city s zoning code update and state housing mandates, approve a revised hotel incentive ordinance, award a heat-and-shade planning contract funded by a Caltrans Safe Streets grant, introduce an ordinance to regulate vehicle sales/rentals in the public right-of-way, receive the FY24-25 audit, review a midyear budget update (including airport performance), and get a status report on capital projects and an economic development implementation plan.
