Chatham County Board of Commissioners held a regularly scheduled meeting that included proclamations for Visit Savannah and Theater in Our Schools Month, employee recognitions, routine appointments and budget amendments, a quarterly report from the county's CNT/overdose response director, and a contested public hearing on rezoning 604 Wilmington Island Road (Police Recreation Association). The commission closed public comment on the rezoning and voted to table the request for additional staff follow-up and negotiation between parties.
