Sedona City Council held a lengthy meeting that opened with a memorial for volunteer ranger Bob Huggins, approved several routine contracts and grants, and after extended staff, applicant and public testimony denied a rezoning request for two properties near Safeway (case PZ24-00018). The council also approved locations and funding for a pilot outdoor emergency siren system funded by a FEMA grant.
