Franklin County Fiscal Court held a Sept. 12 special meeting that approved multiple grant applications, awarded construction and equipment contracts for a new road maintenance building, confirmed two planning/road appointments and voted down a motion to surplus a jail firearm. The court met in person and by video teleconference; Judge Michael Mueller presided.
