Spencer County Fiscal Court held its March 16, 2020 meeting in Taylorsville. The court heard extended public comment about the county animal shelter and a dog that was euthanized, considered an animal-control policy and later hired an interim animal control officer; the judge declared a local COVID-19 emergency; the court approved road funding submittals and released several road bonds; and it approved routine purchases, invoices and transfers.
