The Michigan City Parks and Recreation Board approved new Washington Park parking policies including surge pricing, caps and a penalty schedule; discussed and tabled a proposed family-only no-smoking beach area; and approved a SprayTech training agreement and several emergency zoo repairs. The board also adopted a letter supporting a sanitary-sewer project to reduce E. coli contamination of Trail Creek and Lake Michigan.
