At its March 3, 2026 meeting, the Covington City Council approved revisions to the noise and disturbing-the-peace ordinances, adopted budget amendments to expand a traffic study and preserve downtown parking, approved property purchases, adopted the parish hazard mitigation plan, and received a positive audit of the city's wastewater treatment operations.
