The Murray City Planning Commission met March 5, 2026. The commission approved findings of fact for two items and unanimously forwarded a sign-code text amendment expanding awning/canopy signage and illumination rules to the City Council; commissioners then used a Mentimeter workshop to explore changes to the MG (manufacturing general) land-use table, including retail, data centers, auto uses and self-storage, and agreed to revisit self-storage later.
