Chair Gina Reiners (self-identified) opened the regular meeting, confirmed board membership present and the quorum. She reminded attendees the meeting was a formal legal proceeding and that it would be recorded and posted.
The Board of Examiners for Nursing met March 4, 2026. Members heard a legislative briefing from the Connecticut Nurses Association, received FOIA guidance from board counsel, reviewed several disciplinary matters (withdrawals, consent orders, and modifications), considered school business for Goodwin University, and heard public comment. Several consent orders were modified or sent to hearing and one school appointment was denied for failing to meet regulatory education requirements.
