Eureka City Council met March 3, 2026. Council received presentations on the county Community Health Assessment and Visit Eureka tourism work, heard a police briefing on “Operation 101” traffic and blight enforcement, held a lengthy public hearing to introduce a comprehensive 2026 inland zoning code update (introduced with friendly amendments on tiny homes on wheels and ADU parity), adopted midyear budget amendments, and advanced an ADU financing program.
