At its July 15, 2025 meeting, the Simpson County Fiscal Court created a county Planning & Zoning structure by emergency ordinances, made related board appointments and personnel adjustments amid split votes, and received a presentation from the school superintendent about a proposed indoor pool. The court also approved routine financial items and authorized code-enforcement actions.
