Skagway Municipality finance committee met April 16 to recommend approvals on a FY25 budget amendment for Microsoft Office 365 subscriptions, amendments to the community funding grant resolution to allow donations (and keep the general-fund allocation at 3%), to forward a proposed 2% seasonal sales-tax increase (with an accompanying utility-waiver program) to the assembly for placement on the Oct. 7, 2025 ballot, and to discuss port/head-tax revenues and BRIC grant status.
