Mayor Walden presided over Dawsonville's Feb. 16, 2026 city council work session, which included the first reading of an amendment to the civil emergencies ordinance, approval of a resolution supporting a USDOT BUILD grant with a $1,000,000 SPLOST match, consent-item approval adding long-term watershed monitoring, employee recognition and a motion to enter executive session for potential litigation, real estate acquisition and personnel matters.
