Orange County Board of Supervisors held its Aug. 13, 2024 meeting with proclamations for Eligibility Professionals Month and Chicano Heritage Month, multiple consent items approved, a heated debate and 3-2 vote to allow resyndication and extended affordability for two affordable-housing projects, a 4-1 vote on grand jury follow-up responses about animal care staffing, and several other grants, appointments and resolutions.
