At a Nov. 5, 2025 special called meeting, the Henderson City Council convened, held a closed session under G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(6) for personnel matters, and voted 5-1 to appoint the Hartzog Law Firm as the City Attorney. Councilmember Sam Seifert cast the lone no vote; two members were absent. The meeting adjourned at 3:55 p.m.
