The King and Queen County Board of Supervisors met Oct. 15, 2024. Public commenters urged the board not to close Lawson/Marriott Elementary and to avoid lengthy bus rides; the board adopted a resolution asking VDOT to restrict through truck traffic on three secondary routes, approved a domestic violence awareness proclamation, authorized a BEAD support letter for Riverstreet Networks, and adopted several routine resolutions and appointments.
