Henderson City Council on Sept. 8, 2025 approved multiple financing and development actions, voted 6-1 to publicly censure Councilmember Geraldine Champion over a social media complaint, accepted the immediate resignation of City Manager/City Attorney Hassan T. Kingsberry and named Paylor Spruill interim, and advanced several interlocal and grant actions including a full SEID grant application for up to $8,158,190.
