At its Aug. 26, 2025 meeting, the Southampton County Board of Supervisors approved a comprehensive-plan amendment and a related rezoning to allow a 15-acre Phase 2 of a Flaggie Run subdivision, heard multiple public comments about traffic, stormwater and local services, authorized a public hearing on a no-through-truck restriction for Buckhorn Quarter Road, and convened a closed session followed by a certification vote.
