The Town of Needham Planning Board held a public hearing March 4 on four proposed zoning articles (floor-area ratio, lot coverage, height, front setbacks) produced by a Large House Review working group; presenters described sliding-scale limits and an attic bonus, and dozens of residents raised concerns about property values, impacts on seniors and missing/corrected fiscal analysis. The board voted to close the hearing and said it will deliberate the proposals at a continued meeting on March 17.
