At its May 12, 2025 regular virtual meeting, the Henderson City Council approved several ordinances and resolutions — including participation in the North Carolina Health Insurance Pool and water/sewer rate increases — and voted to restrict Mayor Melissa Elliott’s access to City Hall pending review of an employee survey.
