The Round Rock City Council met to hear staff presentations on general services and capital projects, to consider multiple routine resolutions and contracts, and to hold a lengthy public hearing on a proposed Skybox data center planned unit development (PUD). Council approved the rezoning on first reading after extended public comment raising concerns about water use, noise, air quality and grid impacts; second reading will be scheduled later.
