At its Feb. 3, 2026 regular meeting, the Appling County Board of Commissioners appointed Daniel B. Carter to the Tax Assessor board, approved a 72-acre transfer to the Appling County Development Authority with a five-year claw-back, approved parks equipment purchases and four LifePak monitors, tabled an ambulance chassis purchase, and scheduled a March 3 work session on animal-control ordinance options following public comment.
