At its April 2, 2024 regular meeting the Nelson County Commission unanimously accepted multiple gravel bids, raised the motor grader hourly rate, approved a land-use agreement for County Road 19, adopted county burn restrictions requiring notification to the Law Enforcement Center, approved two tax abatements and paid the county bills. Several departmental updates were given and an assistant state's attorney hire was announced.
