The City Council of the City of Bay Minette met Aug. 21, 2023, and unanimously approved the fiscal year 2023–24 budget, multiple ordinances and resolutions including a golf-cart ordinance and franchise agreement first reading, accepted a FEMA grant for the fire department, and approved payables of $278,803.70. A resident raised a concern about a steep ditch on his property during council/citizen comments.
