At its May 22, 2025 open meeting, the Hudson County Board of County Commissioners approved a $407,221 amendment to a design contract for a 14th Street Viaduct bike lane, honored Dr. Manuel Sanchez on his retirement and heard a lengthy public-comment session about withheld pandemic hazard/retention pay, corrections staffing and a county voter mailer error. Commissioners asked administration and counsel for follow-up and documentation.
