At the Oct. 24, 2024 meeting of the Town of Canton Board of Aldermen, the board approved a series of recovery and administrative measures after recent flooding, including an emergency ordinance allowing RV hookups to sewer lines for storm-damaged residents, adjustments to flood valuation rules, multiple grants and contracts, and the appointment of Sam Dunbar as town clerk.
