Wimberley City Council on Oct. 16, 2025 held a regular meeting that included a lengthy public hearing and a 3–2 approval of CUP25-013 allowing a four-unit short‑term rental at 202 River Road amid neighbor concerns about septic capacity, parking and neighborhood character. Council also approved a mobile flower-cart permit, RFPs for a playground replacement, a stage at Oak Park, routine fiscal items and other procedural business.
