Edmond City Council on Sept. 23, 2024 heard a lengthy public hearing on a proposed East Fork PUD (Z24-00003), continued that rezoning to Oct. 14 for additional outreach after residents raised traffic, flooding and density concerns, and approved several infrastructure and code items including ODOT funding agreements, a Broadway ADA/signal contract, repeal of a local oil-and-gas code with an emergency declaration, and a new EV charging safety ordinance.
