At its Nov. 7, 2023 regular meeting, the Nelson County Commission approved a set of administrative and operational items including a 9-1-1 joint powers agreement, an amendment to a Tyler Technologies contract, equipment auctions and a $20,216.47 repair for a sheriff patrol vehicle. Commissioners also discussed demolition of the old Michigan School and asked the county States Attorney to research whether bricks could be buried at the county landfill.
