At a special called meeting on June 13, 2024, the Canton Town Board adopted the 2024–25 budget and schedule of fees (including a new splash-pad rental), approved a $487,136.43 contract for the Chestnut Mountain Bridge and several routine measures, and entered a closed session under state statute. Several park and summer-program updates, including strong attendance at Summer Camp and pool use, were reported.
