At a Jan. 21, 2026 Miles City Finance Committee meeting, members elected Brooke Bartholomew as committee chair and unanimously approved a budget amendment to add $1,500 to the mayor's travel budget for the remainder of this fiscal year and to increase it to $3,000 next year. The committee also heard the mayor's request to add health insurance to the mayoral budget while documentation is located.
