Nelson County Commission met Aug. 1, 2023 to approve minutes and administrative motions, seek bids for road equipment, hear a budget presentation from Auditor Nathan Parks proposing a general mill levy increase (same amount as 2023) and a higher Law Enforcement Center levy, and set a special meeting Aug. 8 to finalize the 2024 budget.
