The Jefferson County Board of Education held its first public hearing on the proposed FY2026 budget and approved multiple personnel, policy and contract items, including a Paid Parental Leave policy, several leave-policy revisions, an Artificial Intelligence policy, and a bus driver salary resolution. The board also reviewed fund balances and scheduled a second budget hearing for Sept. 9, 2025.
