The City Council of the City of Bay Minette met Dec. 20, 2021, approved a consent agenda and payables, held a public hearing and approved Ordinance 999 (first reading) to rezone 2411 U.S. Highway 31, and received an update on the Baldwin County Jail project including required utility relocation and tree removals. A property owner raised concerns about construction-site conduct and a resident asked about right-of-way improvements on East First Street.
