At its April 11, 2022 meeting, the Moody City Council unanimously approved an ordinance to authorize issuance of General Obligation Warrant Series 2022‑B to fund a new police department, authorized a $123,296 purchase of a dump truck and a series of routine equipment purchases and personnel actions, and recognized the Moody High School state championship wrestlers and the 50th anniversary of the Moody Fire Department.
