At its March 2, 2021 regular meeting at Newton City Hall, the Newton City Council approved a package of recommendations to the Downtown Newton Development Association (DNDA) to revise its bylaws and authorized the city to recruit a Main Street Program Coordinator and to hire a full-time Events and Promotions Coordinator; council also heard presentations from regional transit officials and received routine operational updates.
