The Newton City Council met Feb. 16, 2021, approved minutes and a consent agenda, adopted a new food-truck ordinance, accepted a state loan offer to rehabilitate a sewer line on West A Street (with later budget implications), approved several sole-source pump purchases and budget amendments for wastewater operations, and authorized funding for additional wayfinding signs.
