Planning & Zoning Board met Feb. 5, 2026 in Boca Raton to hear and vote on development items including 101 East Palmetto (an IDA with a parking deviation), multiple approvals for the Boca Raton Resort at 501 East Camino Real (residential building, master plan amendments, and a new fitness center), a city-initiated building-height code amendment for R2/R3D districts, and a set of Downtown Campus / DDRI zoning and LDR amendments. Multiple public commenters raised parking, traffic, construction sequencing and infrastructure concerns.
