Riverside City Council met March 3, 2026. The evening session opened with public comment focused heavily on the University Terrace/Homekey funding decision; council proclaimed Women’s History Month and heard a presentation on a new Inspector General recruitment. The council voted unanimously to place a Measure Z extension and a 0.25% sales-tax increase on the June 2, 2026 ballot to fund fire staffing, stations and related services.
