Stanley Town Council on Sept. 8, 2025, adopted the Downtown Stanley Transportation Study, withdrew a petition to close a portion of West Plum Street in favor of a safety study, approved a resolution to sell the existing police department building at 230 South Main Street, and heard an update on fires caused by a severed power line at the Meadows pump station in Jackson Park.
