Board President Lauren Tyra called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m., announced a quorum, explained recording and minutes posting requirements under Texas law, and conducted roll call (Tyra; Nancy Humphrey; Tara Lance; Sam Johnson; Michael Cook; Elisa/Lisa Klein; Catherine Goodwin).
Plano ISD trustees met March 10, 2026; they recognized students and staff, approved the consent agenda (including an administrative appointment), held a closed session, and after returning to open session unanimously approved several motions: adoption of a TEA independent hearing examiner recommendation, termination of a probationary employee, approval of a settlement, renewal of the District of Innovation plan, and adoption of TASB policy updates. Reports included the 2027–28 academic calendar draft and a pre-K enrollment update.
