At its Feb. 2, 2026 regular meeting, the Gladwin City Council unanimously adopted a rewritten Chapter 97 (Trees and Shrubbery) that clarifies which trees the city maintains and which remain a property owner responsibility; the council also accepted an unmodified financial audit, approved a February budget amendment and several routine items, and heard a public comment from a union representative about outstanding grievances.
