At its Dec. 10, 2024 regular meeting in Franklin, the Macon County Board of Commissioners heard the FY2024 audit, received public comment opposing proposed changes to soil/water and floodplain ordinances, debated animal shelter staffing (no action), and approved several routine items including a lease renewal, an updated acceptable-use policy, a solid waste ordinance revision, and a surplus-property upset-bid process motion.
