The Boca Raton Planning & Zoning Board met Jan. 6, 2026 and recommended approval of three major items: a DRI amendment to remove about 129.6 acres from the Boca Technology Center DRI, a city-initiated update to the comprehensive plan to meet new state planning horizons, and a text amendment establishing rules for freestanding emergency facilities (approved with board amendments). All three recommendations will go to city council for final action.
