At its April 9, 2024 regular meeting the Macon County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on the proposed sale of the Old Pine Grove School, heard public comment urging preservation and arts funding, and unanimously approved a letter of support for Vaya Health’s Child and Family Specialty Plan, several budget amendments and property actions including a Nantahala property purchase and contracts for county facilities work.
