Senate Judiciary & Elections Committee heard a large slate of House bills and a voter referral; members debated policing-related criminal statutes, a manslaughter-for-advice bill about teen suicide, changes to probation for dangerous crimes against children, election-referral language and other corrections; several bills received due-pass recommendations and some were held for revision.
