Claiborne County Commission met Aug. 19, 2019 in Tazewell and approved a change in the county employee health plan to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tennessee, accepted several resolutions including education grant amendments and HOME homeowner rehabilitation policies, filed annual financial reports, received a highway department debt report for a $280,665 capital lease, and adopted participation in the state Electronic Monitoring Indigency Fund (EMIF).
