Lima City Council met for a regularly scheduled meeting where members adopted a memorial resolution for the late Michael Bender Jr., heard multiple public comments about an alleged use-of-force incident at a downtown establishment on Sept. 27, referred that incident to the Safety Services Committee with authorization to subpoena video, and approved a batch of ordinances including a lead service-line replacement contract (Phase 3A).
