On June 12, 2025, the Calhoun County Commission unanimously approved multiple public-nuisance abatements and declarations, awarded demolition and equipment bids, authorized several grant applications for law-enforcement programs, and accepted roughly 712 acres at McClellan from the City of Anniston for public use.
